This Policy applies to dealings between Codfern Pty Ltd ACN 010 869 959 and its associated legal entities, collectively trading as "Gregson & Weight Funeral Homes" ("the Business") and those persons ("Clients") engaging the funeral services ("Services") of the Business and, in particular, to the collection of Clients' personal information, as defined in relevant privacy legislation, including, but not limited to Clients' names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers.
The Business is committed to protecting the privacy of its Clients
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
As a consequence of submitting their personal information to the Business, Clients agree that the Business may record and use such information for the purposes of providing the Clients with the products and services of the Business, and for all associated purposes., including managing our relationship with Clients and our accounting and management processes, in order to comply with our legal obligations.
In the future the Business may use your personal information to contact you and provide you with updated information relating to our business products and services.
We will only ever disclose necessary information to third party service providers our Business engages, for the purpose of completing the services you require.
For the Clients' protection, our Business shall require the third parties to be bound by non-disclosure requirements, with regard to any personal information we provide, to ensure the completion of all the services required by and ordered on behalf of the Clients.
The Business will make all reasonable endeavours to protect the Clients' personal information against unauthorised access, use, modification, or disclosure
Your personal information will only be recorded by authorised staff of the Business, whom will be instructed to keep such information confidential
ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF INFORMATION
All Clients have the right, subject to providing proof of identity acceptable to the Business, to request access to and correction of their personal information held by the business
All such requests will be processed within five (5) business days or receipt of such a request
If a Client has a complaint relating to the collection, use, or security of their personal information, they must deliver such complaint in writing to the manager of the Business
DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Upon completion of the requested Services and payment in full of the tax invoice rendered by the Business for such Services, the client may elect not to receive any direct marketing material undertaken by the Business, by submitting an email request to email@example.com.
Upon receipt of such a request, the Business shall delete the Clients' personal information from its records, within five (5) business days of receipt of such request.
The Business reserves the right to review and make changes to this Policy from time-to-time.
Any such changes will be made in accordance with any future amendments to the relevant privacy legislation
